Monbat, Apartment building

A residential building in the city of Montana, completed in 2019.

The project was commissioned as a building for the employees of the battery manufacturer “Monbat”. The building is located in the city center, overlooking the city park.

It houses 32 apartments, of which 20 are maisonettes, 6 two-room apartments and 6 studios. On the top floor there is a large 4-room apartment set back from the facade on each side, which turns into a large terrace with views in all directions. All maisonettes have a double orientation - to the park and to the inner courtyard, and each apartment is equipped with a small balcony. Garages are also provided for each apartment on the ground floor and in the inner courtyard.

The elegant white facade and the layout of the balconies framed in thin white boxes contribute to a more favourable urban silhouette and environment. Subsequently, a second multi-family building on a neighboring property was commissioned and built by the same client, as a testament to the successfully completed work by Atelier Niveau51.
